Stage Participation Agreement

1. Nature of Stage Participation

I expressly understand and acknowledge that my participation in a stage (trial shift) at any Schulson Collective restaurant does not constitute a contract of employment, an offer of permanent employment, or any guarantee of future employment. Participation is solely for evaluating mutual fit between the applicant and the restaurant.

2. No Obligation to Hire

I understand that Schulson Collective and its affiliated restaurants are under no obligation to offer me employment at the conclusion of the stage. Similarly, I am under no obligation to accept any offer of employment that may be extended following the stage.

3. Compensation

I understand that participation in a stage is unpaid unless otherwise explicitly agreed to in writing by an authorized representative of Schulson Collective prior to the stage. Hours worked during the stage will be documented on this form for record-keeping purposes only.

4. Conduct During Stage

During the stage I agree to: (a) follow all reasonable instructions given by management and staff; (b) adhere to all workplace health, safety, and hygiene standards; (c) treat all staff, guests, and property with respect; (d) maintain confidentiality regarding recipes, operational procedures, and any proprietary business information observed during the stage.

5. Liability Waiver

I agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Schulson Collective, its owners, operators, managers, and employees from any and all claims, damages, injuries, or losses arising from or related to my participation in the stage, except to the extent caused by the gross negligence or willful misconduct of Schulson Collective.

6. Personal Data and Privacy

I consent to Schulson Collective collecting and storing the personal information provided on this form including name, address, phone number, email address, and electronic signature for the purposes of processing this stage form, payroll and compliance record-keeping if employment is offered and accepted, and contacting me regarding this application. My data will not be sold or shared with third parties except as required by law.

7. Electronic Signature

I understand and agree that my electronic signature has the same legal force and effect as a handwritten signature. By signing I confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to all terms and conditions stated in this agreement.

8. Entire Agreement

This Stage Participation Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between myself and Schulson Collective with respect to this stage and supersedes all prior discussions or representations. Any amendments must be made in writing and signed by both parties.
